Lee Lee La Cubana (Ashley Miah) is an Afro-Latina artist and SHE.E.O. of The Culture Candy, hailing from the vibrant Lower East Side of New York City. Her artistic focus lies in the realm of acrylic painting, where she skillfully brings to life contemporary pop-art pieces that reflect her unique experiences and perspectives. In recognition of her community work and artistic expression, Lee Lee La Cubana is currently an artist at Atlantic Gallery and was honored as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 Local 2023 and Crain's "20 in their 20s" in 2022. Her creations are a compelling blend of her upbringing in urban New York City, the journey into womanhood, and the exploration of internal wealth and self-discovery. Lee Lee La Cubana's artistic journey began during her early life when she independently immersed herself in art, ultimately leading her to attend the renowned Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art. Continuing her dedication to the field, she pursued her passion and obtained a B.F.A. from Hunter College. Having been born and raised in the vibrant Lower East Side of New York City, Ashley draws inspiration from her urban surroundings. She creates contemporary pop art paintings that cleverly incorporate elements of 90's and current pop culture, divine femininity, experiences and the unique urban culture of
